I started playing the piano around age 5. Much to my big brother's frustration, I was able to play by ear some of the pieces that he was diligently working on. I was on the piano bench at my home church by the time I was 12. Attending a small Nazarene church in Spartanburg, SC gave me a great place to learn and develop. Under the leadership of my granddad, Rev. J.Y. Todd, I learned to love the old hymns. The hymnal for me was a lot like the King James Version of the Bible is for many - hard to give up. It was easy to embrace the praise and worship movement, but I still find a lot of solace in the hymnal.

Meet the Webbs

An old pic, will update soon

I've been blessed with an incredible family. Marianne, my wife since 1982 has been by my side through thick and thin. We can't be that old can we? She makes me laugh and keeps me grounded. She is also one of the best moms I've ever seen. We are blessed with 3 wonderful boys... well they're wonderful most of the time...

God (and Tanner) brought us a daughter in law and eventually a little princess granddaughter Riley in 2019. July 2021 will bring our first grandson to Tanner and Hailey and 2022 plans to bring us another daughter in law and Garen and Kristen plan to wed! These are exciting days for the Webbs.

We moved in 2020 to Texarkana, TX where I work for the Texarkana family of Funeral Homes. Marianne and I are enjoying life in the country!
