I started playing the piano around age 5. Much to my big brother's frustration, I was able to play by ear some of the pieces that he was diligently working on. I was on the piano bench at my home church by the time I was 12. Attending a small Nazarene church in Spartanburg, SC gave me a great place to learn and develop. Under the leadership of my granddad, Rev. J.Y. Todd, I learned to love the old hymns. The hymnal for me was a lot like the King James Version of the Bible is for many - hard to give up. It was easy to embrace the praise and worship movement, but I still find a lot of solace in the hymnal.

Meet the Webbs
An old pic, may update soon... may not :-)
I've been blessed with an incredible family. Marianne, my wife since 1982 has been by my side through thick and thin. We can't be that old can we? She makes me laugh and keeps me grounded. She is also one of the best moms I've ever seen. We are blessed with 3 wonderful boys... well they're wonderful most of the time...
God (and Tanner) brought us a daughter in law and eventually a little princess granddaughter Riley Kate in 2019. July 4th, 2021 brought our first grandson, Kellan Brooks to Tanner and Hailey and in June of 2022 we gained another daughter in law with Garen's wedding to Kristen! 2024 completed the circle of dauther's in law as Lanson married Nicole and they now have a rambunctious little boy Holden Counts and now a daughter, Harlynn Cadence. These are exciting days for the Webbs.
We moved in 2020 to Texarkana, TX where I work for the Texarkana family of Funeral Homes. Marianne and I are enjoying life in the country!
