Over the past few years, I've done a fair amount of arranging for the church music world.  Most of the time, I was writing for piano and organ or for our church choir or orchestra.  I'm blessed to be part of a great music program that allows me to experiment in a lot of areas.  Most of what you will find here was born in that arena.

My hope would be for you to find something here that might work in your church situation.  If you need something from the orchestra / jazz page adapted for your particular group, please ask.  If time permits, I'd love to work on that for you.

The "Meditations" CD project was born out of years of dreaming and finally, writing. Over the years I've worked with so many pianists who were great readers, but struggled when it came to improvising. Since the improvising is my favorite part of the service, I decided to put some things in print to give you readers a tool for the soft moments in the service where you need to underscore prayer, communion or a response time. Completed in 2001, when I finally got a publisher to accept one in 2005, I decided it might be time to do a recording. None of these arrangements are the big, show off type of offertory you're accustomed to finding in a book of piano arrangements, but rather the soft, prayerful things that will create a meditative mood. I hope you enjoy it.
