Over the past few years, I've done a fair amount of arranging for the church music world. Most of the time, I was writing for piano or for our church choir and orchestra. I've been blessed to be a part of a few churches with great music programs that allowed me to experiment in a lot of areas. Most of what you will find here was born in that arena. 

The "Meditations" CD project came from years of dreaming and finally writing. Over the years, I've worked with so many pianists who were great readers, but struggled when it came to improvising. Since the improvising is my favorite part of the service, I decided to put some things in print to give you readers a tool for the soft moments in the service where you need to underscore prayer, communion or a response time. Completed in 2001, when I finally got a publisher to accept one in 2005, I decided it might be time to do a recording. None of these arrangements are the big, show off type of offertory you're accustomed to finding in a book of piano arrangments, but rather the soft, prayerful things that will create a meditative mood. I hope you enjoy it.
